Disneyland for Under a Grand

If i was to tell you i could put together a DIY 3 night Disneyland Paris Trip in August School Holidays for 2 Adults + 1 Child under £1000 including Eurostar, 4* Hotel & Park Tickets would you believe me? Here's how...

Getting There

Eurostar have some great prices from London St Pancras/Ebbsfleet/Ashford International during the School Holidays with fares as low as £38 per person, one way on selected dates and times. I found a Tuesday - Friday was the cheapest. Children under 4 years old may travel free but will have to sit on an adults lap for the journey and will not have an allocated seat.

Although it is a longer journey than by plane (approx 2 hrs 40 mins) it can be a much more relaxing, convenient way to travel with children without the hassle of an airport.

On Eurostar there is no weight limit for your luggage and each piece can be up to 85 cm long at its widest point. An Adult can take 2 pieces of luggage and 1 small bag and a Child can take 1 piece of luggage plus a small bag. If a Child under the age of 4 is travelling free they will have no luggage allowance. The Eurostar stops at Gare de Marne La Vallee - just a 2 minute walk from the gates of the Disney Parks - Perfect!

Accommodation

Hotel l'Elysee Val d'Europe is just a 5 minute shuttle ride from the Disney Parks and Gare de Marne La Vallee. They provide guests with a free shuttle service called Navette Privee,which will take you to and from the Hotel, Train Station and Disney Parks multiple times during the day. Hotel l'Elysee Val d'Europe is the perfect base for a magical family holiday. Val D'Europe has so much more to offer than just the Disney Parks! Nearby discover a wide range of activities to suit the whole family -

Directly opposite the hotel you will be in shopping heaven at Val d'Europe shopping centre which is host to 160 shops and and a supermarket. Plus just a 10 minute walk away and you can continue your shopping spree at La Vallee Village
Take a Wellness break in the Aquatonic spa
Visit the underworld at Paris Val d'Europe Sealife Aquarium
If your up for some adventure Davy Crockett Park is just a 10 minute drive away and includes the biggest Tarzan Jump!
If time allows get to Paris on the RER regional train (a 30 minute trip)

I have found this hotel at a great price using the Trip Advisor Comparison Tool for the example dates 20th - 23rd August 2019, from just £151 per night direct with the Hotel's Official Site.

Disneyland Park & Walt Disney Studios Park Tickets

There are a number of options you can choose from when buying your park tickets and many sites online offer them at discount prices for the Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios Park -

2 Day/ 2 Parks
3 Day / 2 Parks
4 Day / 2 Parks

I use Picniq who are safe, secure, ABTA protected and easy to use.

They are currently offering 44% off gate price for 1 Day / 1 Park. For the Example deal i have chosen to buy 1 Day/ 1 Park tickets for Each day (21st and 22nd August) allowing 1 full day in each park at a price of £57 per person. This makes it £171 each day. Total Tickets for both days for 2 Adults +1 Child = £342. This works out £71 cheaper than the 2 day / 2 parks Tickets!
